CENTERVILLE, MA – The annual Grecian Festival of St. George Greek Orthodox Church of Cape Cod has attracted thousands of people from all over the country for the past three decades. This year as it celebrates the 34th year of the Grecian Festival the parishioners proudly share their culture, ethnic heritage and faith with dedication and enthusiasm. Delicious Greek pastries baked by the ladies of the community will be offered for sale. Patrons can shop at the Agora (market place) for Greek food products, or stop at the Kafenio (coffee shop) for a cup of authentic Greek coffee and a piece of pastry. The boutique will once again provide souvenir-type items that one might purchase on a vacation to Greece or browse among the many attic treasures
This year, as in years past, the St. George youth group will perform Greek folk dancing. Live Greek music (by TA PETHIA) will be played throughout the festival. And, a grand prize cash raffle will be drawn on Sunday afternoon.
As always, food prepared by members of the parish with authentic Greek recipes will be available for take-out or for your enjoyment under the large dining tent as you partake of the hospitality of this annual ethnic celebration.
Rain or shine, we hope to see you all there………..Yasou!!
