Jr. Joy will be changed this year into a clinic-style skills training league. Each player will have the opportunity to enter into the league as an individual, without having a team. The cost will be $50 per player. Each player is required to submit a registration form before the beginning of the season, on December 6th. The Jr. Joy player will gather every Saturday (according to the schedule) and will have 40 minutes designated for skills-building, including: practice drills, warm-ups, dribbling practice, and lessons from the MYBL staff and referees. The last 40 minutes of the session, the players will be divided into different teams and they will play scrimmage games. The players will receive a reversible jersey they are required to wear every game. This is a great opportunity for Jr. Joy aged kids (boys and girls) to come together and learn basketball skills, create friendships between parishes, and play basketball in a friendly Christian environment. This clinic is offered for all children from any Greek Orthodox Parish in the Metropolis of Boston.
