To mark the National Day of Greece, the Consul General of Greece in Boston and the BUPh are proud to sponsor the fourth annual Lectures in Modern Philhellenism. What is the future of representative democratic government in the countries that created, refined, and then exported the most significant political achievemnet in human history-democracy?

Sneak Preview of the exhibition:
“Albert Meyer and teh photographs of the first modern Olympics” from the Benaki Museum in Athens

Free and open to the public. A reception to follow, sponsored by the Benaki Museum.
Hosted by the Consul Geneal of Greece in Boston, the BU Philhellenes, BU Department of Classical Studies, and the BU Core Curriculum.
