This recipe makes a great dip or even a sauce for fish or poultry. The capers give it a nice salty flavor.
Greek Style Garlic Dip with Capers Recipe Ingredients:
- 2 cups cubed day old bread, soaked in 1/4 – 1/2 cup water
- 3 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1/3 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/4 cup capers rinsed
- 4 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/2 cup blanched almonds, soaked in water overnight (drained)
- Salt, to taste
Place all the ingredients in a food processor and pulse until smooth. Store in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to a week.
