Skordalia is a popular sauce in Greece that has many uses. It can be eaten on its own as a dip or be used as a finishing sauce. There are also several versions of it. This one uses walnuts to give it an extra special flavor.

Greek Garlic Sauce With Walnuts Ingredients:

  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 cup crushed almonds
  • 1 slice stale or lightly toasted bread
  • 3/4 cup Greek olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh, chopped parsley, to garnish

How to Make Greek Garlic Sauce With Walnuts:

Add all the ingredients to a food processor.

Pulse until smooth.

Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to three days.

Garnish with parsley if using it as a dip just before serving.
