Greek Style Pomegranate Drink (Granita) Recipe Ingredients:
- 4 ripe pomegranates
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoons lemon juice
- Rosewater or orange flower water, optional
- Pomegranate seeds, to garnish (if serving cold)
Peel the pomegranates and remove the seeds. Place in a blender or food processor and pulse until a mash is formed. Place the mash in a fine colander and strain the juice through. You can also juice the pomegranate seeds instead if you have a juicer.

If serving hot, continue to warm the juice until heated all the way through. If not, immediately power the juice over ice, add a few drops of rosewater or orange flower water (optional), and sprinkle with pomegranate seeds.
If serving hot, pour the juice into mugs and finish it with a few drops of rosewater or orange flower water.
