We hope this letter finds you and your families with health and happiness. It is with much joy and excitement that we at GreekBoston.com announce a special charity event we are holding to support the tremendous camp program held by the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Boston each summer at the St. Methodios Faith and Heritage Center in New Hampshire. The camp program, since it was established in 1990, has received more than seven thousand campers from across New England and throughout the world. The purpose of the camp is to allow young children to learn more about their Orthodox faith, meet other children their age, experience a rich program exposing them to their Greek heritage, and of course allow for a most exciting time of fun and activities.
GreekBoston.com is seeking to support this meaningful cause. GreekBoston.com was created eight years ago as a web community with the purpose of uniting the Hellenic youth of New England through a wide range of cultural information, entertainment, and services. Our goal to promote Hellenism and unite the youth is very well established as is evident by our 100,000 monthly visitors.
We at GreekBoston.com believe that this charity event will be great for our Hellenic community. The event will be supporting the youth camp program and uniting our community with a night filled with entertainment, food, music, dancing, and fellowship.
The event will feature a karaoke contest with Kalomoira, a young Greek-American woman who rose to stardom in Greece and is now an international singing star. All proceeds will go directly to the camp program. We hope you will support this most worthwhile endeavor by being a sponsor of the event as we try to maximize our donations to the camp.
