DESCRIPTION:The ensemble Psaltikon\, directed by Spyridon Antonopoulos\, will perform a concert titled “The Psalmody of Creation” at Newton City Hall\, 7:30pm\, Tuesday\, 17 May. The program will explore the repertoire of Byzantine chant (ψαλτική) as well as its origins in ancient Greek music and Jewish music.
