Best Clubs to Visit on the Island of Mykonos

Written by in , Comments Off on Best Clubs to Visit on the Island of Mykonos

Are you interested in visiting Mykonos? If so, you have no doubt heard that it is a great place to party. Sure, there are other things to do here, such as head to the beach. However, the nightlife here is legendary. Here’s a look at some of the best clubs you can spend time in during your stay:

Cava Paradiso

Deriving its name from Paradise beach where it’s located, Cava Paradiso is a world-renowned nightclub, popular for hosting the island’s wildest parties. Seated on a hilltop, the view of the ocean from the club is spectacular, but the real pleasures begin once you go inside. The bulk of the interior is one enormous dance floor, though sitting areas with tables and chairs surround the floor. The nightclub’s star attraction, however, is the giant swimming pool and, for those curious about its unique shape, it’s modeled after the shape of Mykonos Island. Some of the best DJs in the world come to Cava Paradiso to spin tunes for the dancing partiers and, with a capacity of 3,000, revelers are never in short supply.

Scandinavian Bar and Club

Located in the center of Mykonos Town, the Scandinavian Bar and Club is thought to be the largest nightclub on the island that isn’t set on the beaches. This may be more convenient for visitors who want to go out, but stay close to their lodgings. Patrons can expect all of the staples of any nightclub: full bars, dance floors, and DJs keeping the action going. Additionally, an enormous fan keeps the dance floor breezy, even when the crowd heats up.

Paradise

This is another nightclub at Paradise Beach and it is known throughout the island. The open-air club creates a unique experience and the swimming pool takes up the center stage of the club, while the upper stage hosts an exclusive VIP area. The main area features a dance floor, bars, and DJ’s keep the latest hits spinning throughout the night. Paradise also hosts visiting musicians on occasion.

Tropicana Beach Bar and Resort

Another establishment populating Paradise Beach, Tropicana Beach Bar and Resort is open all day. They begin by serving coffee and breakfast in the mornings and stay busy through the afternoons, receiving visits from beachcombers and surfers. Slipping in for a quick lunch is a great way to get out of the sun and cool off. Later, the club hosts a DJ-fueled beach party that lasts far into the early morning hours. Providing a place to either relax or go wild throughout the day, Tropicana Beach Bar and Resort often becomes a favorite for tourists looking to let their hair down.

Astra

This hot spot blends the best qualities of a popular nightclub with the more relaxed traits of a lounge and, surprisingly, it works well. The eclectic mix at Astra draws a diverse crowd and the subdued early evening atmosphere soon gets an electric charge as the sun goes down and the dance floor heats up. It’s a smaller club, so it may be best to arrive early, but it makes up for its lack of space with a unique taste of local culture.
There are many more hot nightclubs that light up the evenings in Mykonos, Greece.

While this island may seem relaxed and easygoing in the afternoons, things always heat up in the evenings.
You can’t go wrong at any of these top clubs on Mykonos!
