Psaltikon Directed by Spyridon Antonopoulos will perform as Part of the Newton Festival of the Arts

The ensemble Psaltikon, directed by Spyridon Antonopoulos, will perform a concert titled “The Psalmody of Creation” at Newton City Hall, 7:30pm, Tuesday, 17 May. The program will explore the repertoire of Byzantine chant (ψαλτική) as well as its origins in ancient Greek music and Jewish music. Tickets are $10, and may be purchased at the door or online at http://www.newtoncommunitypride.org.
