Greek Bread with Cheese and Oregano (Tiropsomo Riganato) Recipe Ingredients:

  • 1 recipe Greek bread
  • 2 tablespoons dried Greek oregano
  • 1/4 pound finely crumbled feta cheese
  • 1 large egg, beaten

How to Make Greek Bread With Cheese and Oregano:

Prepare the Greek bread according to the recipe instructions. Let the dough rise until doubled.

Punch the dough down once it rose enough. Knead in the oregano and feta. Form the bread into two loves and place on a baking sheet that has been brushed with oil. Let the loaves rise until doubled.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Brush each loaf with the egg. Place the baking sheet in the center of the oven. Bake until the loaves are cooked all the way through and are slightly golden brown. This should take 35-40 minutes.
