In the coastal areas of Greece, people regularly feast on fresh seafood. This recipe can be prepared with any type of fish you have on hand, but it is best with a thick, meaty fish, such as swordfish.

Greek Style Fish With Skordalia Recipe Ingredients:

  • 6 pieces of fish of choice, such as swordfish, cod, haddock, etc
  • 1 recipe ladolemono
  • 1 recipe skordalia
  • Fresh, chopped parley, to garnish (optional)

How to Make Fish With Skordalia:

Rinse the swordfish steaks in cold water and pat dry with a clean cloth or paper towels.

Spray a large baking dish with cooking spray and arrange the sword fish steaks in the dish in a single layer.

Prepare the ladolemono according to the recipe instructions and pour over the fish. Cover the baking dish with plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator for 1-8 hours to marinate.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Blot some of the excess marinade form the fish. Place the baking dish in the oven and bake until the fish is cooked all the way through. This should take about 30 minutes.

Prepare the skordalia according to the recipe instructions. Remove the fish from the oven and ladle the sauce over the fish just before serving. Sprinkle parsley over, if desired.
