10 Minute Greek Style Sorbet

Written by in Comments Off on 10 Minute Greek Style Sorbet

Greece is a great climate for growing many popular and delicious fruits, such as citrus fruits, watermelon, and even colder weather fruits depending on where you are in Greece. Each of these can be used to make a delicious and quick sorbet that doesn’t need to be churned in an ice cream maker! You can use any type of fruit you want with this recipe.

10 Minute Greek Style Sorbet Recipe Ingredients:

  • 8 ounces (by weight) of cut fruit of choice, such as berries, pineapple, pear, etc.
  • 2 tablespoons Greek honey

How to Make Greek Style Sorbet:

Put the fruit in a ziplock plastic bag and freeze for 24 hours. Or, you can use store-bought frozen fruit instead of fresh fruit. If that is the case, then you don’t need to take the extra step of freezing the fruit.

Place the fruit in an ice-crushing blender. Add the honey and pulse until smooth.

Serve the sorbet immediately or freeze in a ziplock bag or freezer-safe container until ready to use.

This recipe will make 2-4 servings, depending on the portion sizes.
