Once you arrive, the beach is located about 36 kilometers from Corfu Town. This means that you can spend time at the beach if you are here for only a day, but only if you have more than a few hours to explore.

Acharavi Beach is actually pretty well-known amongst those who are familiar with Corfu. It is located in a fairly busy resort area, and this beach is one of the main ones in the area that are worth visiting. Not only that, but it is fairly accessible from Corfu Town since it is only 36 kilometers away. Because of this, you can easily rent a tax, take a bus, or drive your rental car to the beach. If you know that you want to visit this beach, however, you should consider staying in one of the resorts in the area so that you can really enjoy it. The beach itself is long and spans at least 3 kilometers. It is also made up of fine sand, rather than the rough pebbles that are found on some of the other beaches in Greece.
What to Do at Acharavi Beach
Once you arrive at this beach, you are ready to enjoy your day. Since it is a fairly popular beach, there are facilities here, as well as sun beds and umbrellas to rent. This means that all you really need to bring is your swimsuit, towel, and comfortable beach shows. There are plenty of tavernas and restaurants nearby, as well, which mans that it is possible to find refreshment here while you enjoy the beach. This is a great beach for families, for swimming, and for soaking up the sun.
While on the Greek island of Corfu, you’ll want to spend some time at Acharavi Beach soaking up the sun, especially if you are staying in a resort in the area.
