Monthly open invitation to interested past, present, and future church musicians at Dormition. Open to all regardless of age or experience, focusing on learning by ear the fixed and repetitive parts of Orthros, Divine Liturgy, and other services to help instill and build confidence and skills across the group. Plus there will be coffee and doughnuts you get there, and pizza for lunch!

At the first one, we had a great morning with kids and adults alike. We learned some concrete ways that newcomers can participate right off the bat, and we sang some of the common hymns of Orthros in both Greek and English. Food also helped bring everybody together and put everybody in the mood for singing!
