The Youth Group will be hosting a
Prosphora and Pizza Day
Come and learn how to prepare the prosphora.
Saturday, January 27th 1-4

The Holy Mystery of Communion, or the Eucharist, is embodied in the wine and leavened bread that are offered as the “gifts” (or body and blood of our Savior, Jesus Christ) in the Divine Liturgy. “Prosphora” comes from the Greek word meaning “that which is offered”.

We will also be making our own pizza to enjoy and playing games.

We encourage all parishioners to come and participate in the importance of preparing the prosphora for Divine Liturgy.
