Show Summary: A combination of storytelling and song, “Yiayia Knows Best,“ is told from the perspectives of Yiayia and her granddaughter, Katie. Hear Yiayia’s story of immigration and survival, her hopes and worries, her struggle and success; intertwined with Katie’s perspective on growing up as “a piece of white bread dipped in olive oil” (half Greek). We hope you will join us for this world premiere, one-woman show, as it pays homage to the woman, the myth, the legend: Yiayia!
