The Greek island of Santorini has a long and interesting when it comes to wine-making. Santorini is the oldest vineyard in all of Europe. The vineyards were destroyed when the island was covered in a thick layer of lava during the 1640 BC volcanic eruption. From these grapes, delicious wines are made. Sample some of these wines at Domaine Sigalas on Santorini.
