About Mersini Beach

Mersini Beach is isolated, which can be a nice change of pace from the party atmosphere of much of Mykonos Island and its beaches. The beach is sandy with clear blue waters and beautiful landscapes to enjoy in all directions. The beach is not organized, so you will have to come equipped with your own towels, chairs, food, and other beach comforts as there are no restaurants or stores around Mersini Beach. The beach is split into two smaller beaches by a section of rocks.

What to do at Mersini Beach

Mersini Beach is the perfect place to go when you want to unwind and enjoy peace and quiet. The beach is isolated, so you won’t find many other people around. Don’t be caught off guard if you notice nudists at Mersini Beach. Thanks to its remote location, it’s the perfect spot for this. Whether you want to lay on the beach and sunbathe or swim the day away, Mersini Beach is the perfect little spot.

You can also walk around the beach and surrounding area and explore the landscape and enjoy the view from different spots. You can also visit the nearby beach of Fokos if you want to explore a different area and beach. Fokos Beach is also remote, but does have one tavern if you want to grab a bite to eat. The food is said to be quite good. There is also parking at Fokos Beach, which is perfect if you’re driving. The view from this beach is lovely too.

Mersini Beach is the perfect spot to spend an afternoon if you’re looking for a secluded area to get away from the hustle and bustle of parties and sightseeing. When visiting the island of Mykonos, Mersini is a great beach to visit for a day of quiet relaxation.
