Written by in , Comments Off on Be Sure to Visit the Santorini Wine Museum

Santorini is known for its unique growing conditions, thanks to the island’s volcanic history. The soil has a unique quality, largely due to the lava that has been a part of this island for centuries. These conditions give all the grapes that grow here a special quality and that makes the wines especially memorable.

Because of this, wine is part of the cultural heritage of the island and this is something that visitors here will want to take part in. The Santorini Wine Museum, also known as the Koutsoyannopoulos Wine Museum, celebrates this. Here’s more information about this museum so that you could visit it during your stay on the island.
