About Vitali Beach

Vitali Beach is a lovely stretch of beach on the east side of Andros Island. It’s one of many beaches that can be found on this island, and it’s surrounded by lush vegetation, making it an even more attractive destination for visitors. The crystal clear water is great for swimming and snorkeling as well as sunbathing on the soft sand. The beach is wide and can accommodate hundreds of people at once without feeling crowded. Vitali is especially popular with families who enjoy their holidays in the sun by the sea.

Other attractions to see during your visit to Andros Island are the waterways, which are perfect for cycling or motorboat tours. The main town on the island is Gavrio, where you will find many shops selling local produce as well as cafes and bars if you want to spend time at one spot rather than exploring all day long.

What to Do at Vitali Beach

There is plenty to do at Vitali Beach and it’s a popular destination for those who love staying active. If you’re into water sports, then you’ll find pedalos and kayaks for rent on the beach. Snorkeling equipment can also be rented so that you can explore the sea and watch all the colorful fish. There are plenty of opportunities to relax as well if your ideal holiday involves more lounging than running around! For example, Vitali has sun loungers where you can nap under an umbrella or have lunch with a view of the sea.

You can also enjoy a boat tour of the local waterways and see the island from another perspective. Renting a bike is another way to explore the area, and there is plenty of beautiful scenery to take in as you go! Other sporting activities include hiking in the local hills. Vitali is also a great place to see the sunset and capture some stunning shots of the bright colors reflected on the water.

How to Get to Vitali Beach

The best way to get to Vitali Beach is by hiring a car, especially if you’re staying on Andros for more than just one day. It’s not always easy using public transport when travelling around the Greek Islands so we recommend renting a vehicle so that you can travel wherever you like at your own pace. You’ll find many car rental companies at the airport, and it’s an easy and straightforward process getting hold of one upon arrival. If you prefer public transport, then buses do run between Gavrio and the airport, taking about half an hour to get from one destination to another. However, there is no service from Vitali Beach so a taxi or a private car will be necessary for your onward journey.

Vitali Beach is a beautiful place to visit, and it’s a great choice for a relaxing holiday. The white sand, blue sea, and lush vegetation make this one of the most beautiful beaches in Greece. You can enjoy many activities as well as simply sitting back and watching the boats go by. With its convenience from the airport and the town, you’re sure to have a holiday to remember at Andros Island!
