Freddo style coffee drinks are especially popular in Greece. There are many things you can do that take on the “Freddo” style. The most popular Freddo drink in Greece is by far the Iced Freddo Coffee. However, this hot cappuccino can also be found on a regular basis. You can also make it at home!

Greek Style Freddo Cappuccino Recipe Ingredients:

  • 2 Shots Espresso
  • Sugar, to taste (optional)
  • 1/3 cup hot, full fat milk
  • Sugar, to taste
  • Cinnamon or cocoa powder, optional (optional)

How to make Greek Style Freddo Cappuccino:

Add the two shots of espresso to a tall glass. Add the sugar if using.

Pour the hot milk into a mason jar. Be sure to wear oven mitts or something to protect your hands.

Shake the jar to foam the milk. If you have a milk foamer, feel free to use that instead!

Pour the foamed milk over the espresso and garnish with cinnamon or cocoa powder.
