Greek Style Purslane and Beets Salad Recipe Ingredients:
- 3 medium beets, boiled, peeled, and sliced
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- 3 cups purslane leaves
- 2 scallions, sliced
- 1 recipe ladolemono
Instructions on How to Make Greek Style Purslane and Beets Salad:
Lay the beet slices in a single layer on a cutting board or plate.
Sprinkle with cloves, salt, and pepper and set aside.
Arrange the purslane leaves on a serving platter and sprinkle with scallions.
Place the beat slices on top of the purslane mixture.
Prepare the ladolemono according to the recipe instructions.
Spoon over the salad and leave the surplus in a small dish so that people can add more to their portion if they want.
