Agios Ioannis Beach is one of the finest and most popular beach destinations on the island of Meganisi. Located in the southeast part of the island, it is ideal for a relaxing holiday or as a base from which you can explore other parts of this beautiful island. Agios Ioannis Beach is about 800 meters long and has shallow waters reaching about 200 meters offshore. The beach is mainly rocky with sandstone, so it’s not safe for young children. You’ll find many restaurants and taverns on the beach and a few hotels.
