Indulge in the local fresh seafood while you’re in the area.

The area has taverns and shops with local products and souvenirs. If you climb the cobblestone steps, they will take you to the chapel of Holy Mother and an exquisite view. There is also a fresh water spring where you can taste the cold mountain water.

Tigani Makria Ammos Beach

Tigani Makria Ammos is a isolated cove found on the western side of the island of Chios. It is 20 km from Chios Town and close to Avgonyma Village. If you’re looking for a beautiful place to relax that is away from the hustle and bustle of more touristy areas, Tigani Makria Ammos Beach is for you. This white pebbled beach features blue waters.
