Meloi Beach is located 2 km north of the port of Skala. Just 20 meters from the beach is the island of Patmos’ camping site. There is also a mini market, restaurant, and tavern in the area. For those who boat, there is a dock available at Meloi Beach for shallow mooring. The sandy beach of Meloi is highlighted by tamarisk trees and a view of the sea and surrounding area.

Getting to Meloi Beach on Patmos

Getting to Patmos Island can be done by ferry. There is no airport on the small Greek island, but there are airports on the nearby islands of Kos and Leros. Both airports receive flights from Athens International Airport. From Leros and Kos, as well as from Rhodes, Lipsi, Kalymnos, and Athens, you can catch a ferry to the island of Patmos.

Once on the island of Patmos, you can get to the village of Skala by taxi or car. There is also a bus service that runs between Kampos and Skala. If you want a bit of fun while getting around the island, you can rent scooters. Once in Skala Village, Meloi Beach is just a 15 minute walk away.
