Sure, Rhodes is known for its diverse history, unique culture, and beautiful beaches. Visitors spend their time visiting historic landmarks and enjoying all the island has to offer. When you aren’t seeing the sites or eating some great food in one of the many restaurants and tavernas, you might want to do something different. Consider visiting the waterpark in Faliriki! Getting to the Waterpark

In order to enjoy the waterpark you need to first get to the island of Rhodes. You can do so by taking a flight or a ferry. Since the island is on the larger side there is a regional airport and the port has ferries coming form different locations. The waterpark is located in Faliriki, which is on the east coast of the island. The waterpark itself is considered to be one of the better ones in Europe. In order to get to the park, there is actually a free bus transfer is available daily from Rhodes town, Kolymbia, Lindos, Pefkoi, and Kiotari.

Why Visit the Waterpark

When you’re on vacation in Rhodes, there are certain things you feel you must do while on the island. Sure, you’ll want to see the historical sites scattered throughout the island. It is important to see other sites, as well. The waterpark is a nice diversion from other activities. Even if you don’t have a lot of time on the island, you might want to consider visiting the park anyway. It is also a very safe place to visit and has lifeguards there to make sure that everyone stays safe. There are also changing rooms, places to at, and plenty of other things to do there that don’t relate to the water. It’s a nice family outing!

What to Do at the Waterpark

Most of the attractions at the waterpark relate to enjoying water. There are actually plenty of attractions to appeal to all ages. There are toddler pools, slides that have you going at high speeds into the water, and even places to relax. For toddlers and children, there is a pool shaped like a pirate ship, complete with tunnels to slide through and fairly realistic water cannons to shoot. There are also some sprinklers to splash through, as well as a pool that is geared towards toddlers.

Other attractions are designed for all ages and are great for families. Share laughs while climbing the Wet Bubble together. Ride on the caterpillar roller coaster, the “Brucomella” Apple. Stand beneath a tall castle and be drenched from the Tipping Bucket. Race against friends or family members on the Head First Mat Racer. Experience simulated ocean waves in the Wave Pool. Relax in the Swimming Pool with a drink, or tube down the long, winding Lazy River. There are also a variety of slides for all ages, including those who like a good adrenal rush.
