These crispy roasted potatoes are seasoned with fresh lemon and are made throughout Greece.

Baked Greek Lemon Potatoes (Patatas Lemonatas) Recipe:

  • 6 large potatoes, washed and peeled
  • 1 recipe ladolemono
  • 2 tablespoons fresh, chopped herbs, such as parsley, oregano, or rosemary

Directions to Make Greek Lemon Potatoes:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Spray a 9 x 13 baking dish with cooking spray or brush with a thick layer of olive oil.

Blot the potatoes with paper towels after washing. Cut each potato into eighths and add it to a medium bowl.

Prepare ladolemono according to the recipe. Toss into the potatoes until will coated. Pour the potatoes into the baking dish in a single layer, making sure to scrape all the ladolemono into the baking dish.

Place the pan in the center of the oven. Bake until potatoes are crispy, which should take around 45 minutes. Garnish with herbs just before serving.
