Lipsi is a tranquil Greek island. It is the perfect destination for anyone looking to relax and enjoy quiet away from the hustle and bustle of other Greek islands and cities. The beaches of Lipsi offer wonder views and an atmosphere that is conducive to relaxation. Here are some of the beaches you can enjoy when in Lipsi, Greece.

Platis Gialos Beach

Platis Gialos translates to wide shore, indicating the beach’s biggest selling point. This beach is located six kilometers southwest of Lipsi Town. Because it is an open cove, you should expect to see high winds at times. There are also no facilities, so be sure to plan accordingly. The road leading to the beach from the main town is narrow but is asphalt for easy travel.

Kambos Beach

Kambos Beach is only a 15-minute walk from town, making it a great stop when you are picking up necessities and want to catch some rays and relax. The beach is distinguished by its long and sandy shore. There are enough trees to find shade from the blazing sun. Kambos Beach is also located right next to Lientou Beach, making it easy to experience both beaches in one day.

Katsadia Beach

If you are looking for the ultimate in seclusion, be sure to head to Katsadia Beach. Located approximately 3 kilometers south of Lipsi Town, this beach features a narrow stretch of sand and a small cove. While there are no facilities or rentals available at Katsadia Beach, its charm lies in its unspoiled nature and tranquility. Do not be surprised to encounter nudists at the nearby coves.

Tourkomnima Beach

Located six kilometers southeast of Lipsi Town, you will find Tourkomnima Beach. This pebbled beach is beautifully juxtaposed with the crystal waters. You can reach the beach via a 30-minute walk from town or travel the direct road. Opposite the beach, visitors will find a charming chapel towering from the top of the rocks on the peninsula. Dedicated to Agios Stathis, this chapel is a beautiful backdrop to your day at the beach.

Hohlakoura Beach

The predominant landscape of Hohlakoura Beach is a rocky shore dotted with white stones. Visitors enjoy this beach because it is generally protected from the winds that affect other beaches in the area. Plenty of sun streams onto the exposed shores of this magical beach. Boasting the perfect balance of convenience and seclusion, Hohlakoura Beach is located four kilometers east of Lipsi Town.

There are so many great beaches in Greece that it can be hard to choose. While in Lipsi, you’ll want to check these beaches out!
