About Kapari Beach

Kapari Beach is a secluded little paradise on the island. It’s a definite change of pace from other beaches on the island, which are busy with locals and tourists enjoying a more party-like atmosphere. At Kapari Beach, you’ll find peace and quiet even though more people have come to learn about the quaint little spot. The area around Kapari Beach remains unaffected by mass tourism.

The beach is located behind the church of Agios Ioannis. Kapari is an unorganized beach and there aren’t any taverns or restaurants close by (you’ll have to go to Agios Ioannis if you want to eat in some place). You’ll want to bring your own food and water if you want to picnic at the beach. Kapari Beach overlooks Delos, which is another island in the Cyclades group of islands. Delos is an important historical, religious, and archaeological site. Kapari Beach is nudist friendly, so it may not be ideal for your entire family.

Thanks to its secluded location and spectacular views, Kapari Beach is the perfect spot for a romantic date. Sunsets at the beach are especially beautiful. The sand at Kapari Beach is clean and the waters clear and ideal for swimming.
